Logical Progression Coat

Our first coat, featuring superfine merino wool for garment stability, and alpaca for lightness and warmth.

  • Worn long, with a belt or brooch to cinch at the waist, creating an hourglass silhouette.

  • Wear upside down for a shorter 1940’s silhouette.

Made in Australia, on a hand knitting machine.

We recommend that you email us to discuss sizing and fit and any other questions you may have.

Caring for Your Knits
  • Gentle hand wash in cool water with a Woolmark approved detergent.
  • Remove excess water by pressing garment between a towel.  
  • Dry flat in shade.  
  • Iron on setting recommended for fibre, for blends, choose the lowest setting.
  • Do not tumble dry.

Absolutely stunning garment! So elegant and versatile. I'm 165cm 56kg and purchased the size S. It fits like a glove. It's perfect for autumn mornings, super warm. I do wonder how it will age/how to best take care of it, I'm going to make a point of being extra careful. Keeping the cat away at an arms length from this one.

Love this so much

Got this made to measure during the pandemic & sent up Sydney for winter 2020. It’s gorgeous. I often wear it year round, especially during this crazy weathered La Niña year, on cool mornings or evenings. Feels so nice on. Storm is a great colour when your base is often black.

A contemporary classic!

Love, love, love this coat! So cosy yet so chic! Meltingly soft angora is perfect for frosty mornings. So may ways to wear it - short or long, belted or open, it feels like four coats in one. I've worn it almost everyday this winter and it still looks brand new - it will be a firm favourite for years to come.

One word: Wow!

I was eagerly awaiting the release of this coat and I wasn’t disappointed. I now have it in both colours, I’m embarrassed to confess! I love them both. The black on me is more edgy and “street”, if that’s the look you’re after. The grey is a smoky charcoal with a lot of depth, that is amazing in alpaca wool. This garment works equally well worn both ways: in fact, it’s like having two distinct coats in the same colour, one a jacket and the other a long coat, because they look so different. They shrug on easily, the line is fluid and they are a dream to wear.
